Educator, Mentor, and Founder of PREP
Paul is a passionate educator who’s all about helping students from different backgrounds thrive. Growing up in Taiwan and studying the American curriculum gave him a unique perspective—he’s been in their shoes. After graduating from New York University, he’s spent over ten years teaching and now leads his own educational consultancy as CEO and head instructor.
Paul’s specialty? Helping bilingual students become confident in advanced English, especially with the tough stuff like academic writing and understanding complex texts. He gets that every student’s cultural background shapes their learning, and he’s all about pushing them to meet—and beat—international standards.
From years in the classroom, Paul created a unique method that boosts vocabulary and sharpens writing skills. His students learn to express big ideas clearly, whether they’re writing analytical essays or telling creative stories.
As the founder and lead instructor, Paul partners with families from international American schools around the world. He takes the time to understand each student’s story and goals, offering personalized mentorship that goes beyond language—it opens doors to academic success and helps students find their true voice in a connected world.
Lily: Educator, Language Lover, and Early Learning Expert
Meet Lily, a dedicated educator with over a decade of experience in helping children learn and grow. Her educational journey spans Melbourne Grammar Girls School in Australia and Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, giving her a unique perspective on how children from diverse backgrounds thrive. Having grown up between cultures, Lily understands the challenges of navigating multiple worlds and weaves this insight into her teaching.
Lily is fluent in English, Chinese, and Cantonese, enabling her to connect with young learners who are managing multiple languages at home and school. She excels at working with children in grades 2 to 4, using creative and engaging methods to build a strong foundation in their early years. Whether it’s mastering new vocabulary or diving into a story, Lily ensures her students feel supported every step of the way.
Her teaching goes beyond language—it’s about opening doors to new cultures and ideas. Drawing from her Hong Kong heritage and global education, Lily crafts lessons that spark curiosity and encourage understanding across different perspectives. She believes that the ability to navigate languages and appreciate diverse cultures is vital for children in today’s interconnected world.
